John A. Frisch

Financial Advisor / Managing Director / Member Owner

At the age of 10, I charted stocks and spent my allowance on books about the stock market and Wall Street. Fifty-plus years later I still learn something new every day.

John has been involved in the financial services industry since 1985 when he started as assistant controller of The Rushmore Group, a mutual fund company, and later managed its broker-dealer. In 1992 he became vice president of Voss & Co., an independent broker-dealer, and in 1995 he founded Alliant Wealth Advisors, where he served as president until it joined with Savant in 2022.

John earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from Geneva College in western Pennsylvania. (BB&T) for 15 years and was a four-year member of the Finance Committee for the Prince William Chamber of Commerce.

Away from work, John enjoys competitive ultra-running (running distances of 50 km or more) and boating and is an avid fan of D.C.’s professional sports teams.
